Text Box: Germantown Country Club Compass Doubles Partners Draw Overview:
Introduction
Germantown Country Club is introducing a new  Compass Draw Tournament. It is a women's doubles partner tournament that features a compass draw format to seed players, and organize matches. It is designed to give players competitive singles matches while maintaining the flexibility to work within everyone's schedule. There are five Women's divisions based on USTA ratings:2.5, 3.0, 3.5, 4.0, and 4.5. No USTA rating is necessary...you can self rate...but no sandbaggers!
Overview
The compass draw  tournament guarantees every team atleast 3 matches. Teams contact each other and complete their match within a two-week period for each round.  Every match you lose you go to a different bracket, but if you win you stay in the main draw.
If you have ever played in our fall Harvest Classic Tournament it will be the exact same format.
The effects of this type of draw is that teams of similar skill levels tend to gravitate to the same bracket. This helps to keep matches competitive.
