How Do USTA Leagues Work?
Teams compete in five national divisions: Adult, Senior, Super Senior, Mixed Doubles, and Tri-Level. The Southern Section of USTA, where Tennessee is included, also includes a division of Southern Combo Doubles and competes at the local, state and sectional Level. The play format features singles and doubles matches for adult leagues (Spring), and three doubles matches for Tri-level, Southern Combo, Seniors, Super Seniors and Mixed Doubles leagues.
USTA League is organized, competitive team play for women and men age 18 and older of all abilities and experience. Whether you're new to the game or a former college player, there's a spot for you. Teams are made up of a minimum of five to a maximum of 16 depending on the division.
Teams and matches are set up according to NTRP ratings, so your teammates and opponents will be at your skill level. The competition is exciting and the atmosphere is social. Read more

Jackie Mills named USTA Tennessee's League
Coordinator of the Year
For the second consecutive year Memphis Tennis Association lays claim to the USTA Tennessee's Local League Coordinator of the Year. Jackie Mills served as the Mixed Local League Coordinator and will be moving into the same role with the Combo league in 2014. Congratulations for a job very well done.
